IARPP Reading Groups

IARPP AUSTRALIA facilitates reading groups, each with a maximum of eight people, in which to provide space for small group study and discussion of the development, key terms and concerns of Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

These groups also offer an opportunity for engagement with local practitioners from various orientations and professional backgrounds. Reading groups are therefore both an unofficial professional development activity and a networking opportunity, whose aim is to explore the client-therapist relationship as being the focal entity in each therapeutic relationship.

Reading groups evolved in Melbourne but have now begun throughout Australia and in New Zealand. If YOU would like to convene such a group, we are happy to support you. We provide the reading material, which aligns with upcoming seminars, as well as ongoing support for conveners.
